Get Ready to Run with Rover in the Atlanta Dog Jog.The city of Atlanta and its surrounding areas are perfect for families or individuals with pets. Whether you have a Shih Tzu or a Gold Retriever, you’re going to find fabulous events that are pet focused nearby, where you and your pets can enjoy a day with other pet lovers and their furry friends. For the more active bunch that loves a good run with their dog, start looking forward to the Atlanta Dog Jog at Piedmont Park, where you, your canine companion, and their fellows will all enjoy a good workout for a good cause.
Before you sign up to participate in the Atlanta Dog Jog, be sure that you are aware of the rules: · All dogs must be leashed. Strollers and wagons are permitted for small breeds. No leashes over 6 feet in length. · Dogs are not allowed to compete in both the one mile and the two mile race. Puppies ages 6 months and younger cannot participate in the 2 mile event. · Dogs must be licensed and up to date on their rabies vaccination to participate. Female dogs in heat are not allowed to participate. · Unruly and aggressive pets and participants may be asked to leave. Are you ready to run in the Atlanta dog jog?
